I have been inspired by the Anguleru to make this fisherman amigurumi doll. The Anguleru is the typical character of Christmas in Asturias (north of Spain). He is a fisherman who lives in the Sargazos Sea taking care of the marine environment. In December he returns to Asturias to fish for eels and sell them, and with the money he gets he buys gifts for the children.

The doll is crocheted following the Japanese "amigurumi" technique and has an approximate size of 30 cm.
